Learning the Frisbee Throws

Backhand: Hold the frisbee with your dominant hand. Place your thumb on top of the frisbee, index finger beneath the rim, and your fingers underneath. Turn to the side with your dominant foot forward. Step forward with your dominant foot. Stretch your arm out from your stomach until it is fully extended and release the frisbee!

Forehand: Hold the frisbee with your dominant hand. Place your thumb on top of the frisbee and your fingers underneath. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. Bend your elbow and place your arm backwards so your fingers are pointing behind you. Then stretch your arm out in a circular motion and release with your palm facing the sky.

Hammer: Hold the frisbee with your dominant hand. Place your thumb on top of the frisbee and your fingers underneath. Bend your elbow at a 90 degree angle. Release the frisbee vertically next to your ear.

Scoober: Hold the frisbee with your dominant hand. Place your thumb on top of the frisbee and your fingers underneath. Turn to the side with your non-dominant foot forward. Step across with your dominant foot. Flip the frisbee upside down and release over your non-dominant shoulder.

Push-Pass: Hold the frisbee with your dominant hand. Place your thumb on top of the frisbee, index finger beneath the rim, and your fingers underneath. Push the frisbee away from your stomach and release.
